Autumn got a kitty last weekend. Her name was Daphene but Autumn changed her name to Pixie. I seem to always call her Trixie or just kitty.
Pixie and Roman don't get along so well. I think they will in time but Pixie is too scared still and Roman is pretty protective so when she hisses, he barks, hair raises, etc. She stays up in Autumn's room with the door closed and Roman sits outside it. They've seen each other bunches and Roman is in his crate and Pixie's door is open right now but she hasn't come downstairs on her own yet.
Autumn and I just made chocolate chip cookies. I let her lick the batter and she says to Erik in the Lazy Boy-who can't see us in the kitchen-"Daddy, I got the first chocolate chip cookie!!" There is not much that will get him up out of that chair when is is getting ready to go to bed but up he got and sauntered into the kitchen looking for the cookies...she got him! They both tease each other so much. Was good to see her get him once.
We planted seeds in the garden yesterday too. Not sure if they will all make it but would be nice! Still have one big bed and a bunch of planters left to fill up. Should be a good year for the garden if I can stay on top of things!! Erik has one more bed to build too.
