Rainy rain

It's already nearly 5pm on Saturday. Where oh where does the weekend go?

Autumn has a cough and not feeling tip top. We got the carpets cleaned today because the dog mistook the upstairs carpet for the yard and left a few deposits up there while Erik was snoozing yesterday.

I got in a super duper nice workout today and went grocery shopping. Now feeling lazy and satisfied.

For those that haven't heard me complain about my back these past 3 months (ok i'm sure everyone has heard me complain about it if you're within earshot..) things ARE getting better. Good God it's taken awhile but the chiropractor is a man of magic. He doesn't even do the cracking manipulation stuff. Working out and stretching carefully has been the biggest help but there are only so many hours in each day. I feel like there are more good days than bad lately. Today is a good day.

Since the furniture and crap is all off the carpets, I feel like putting things in different places. Not ideal since Erik is the one that will have to move things and he doesn't see as much "fun" in rearranging furniture as I do. Plus, who knew it took like 6 hours for carpet to dry? That is how my brain works.....yeah!! clean the carpets...oh wait, what? they'll be wet for 6 hours? Crap.

I suppose Erik's time would really be better spent on one of his various projects outside. Maybe the half done shed he started 5 years ago? The partially built garden? Finish off the other 50 ft of the first 8 feet of fence built? Maybe do something about the front yard that is really a big huge mud pie? Not to mention the other half of the yard that is all mud as well from driving his trunk all over it (well..other things too) or maybe just burn the big pile of yard waste that is sitting in the mud pile??

As you can see, I am loosing my mind from the all the projects he starts around here before finishing the last one.

So today he asks if we are going to start on the deck soon. Comical. Really.

Sounds like Romy is "marking" his territory where the new kitty will notice it...
