Ocean in March

Well, we are back from Forks. For Autumn and I, this was suppose to be a trip to the beach, hiking in the rain forrest and exploring but for Erik it was a fishing trip. All is fine and good because it was way too cold to be on the beach and too much snow on the road to the rain forest. We still had fun.

We stayed in the cabin the first night but Autumn and I went to a hotel the 2nd night. I just need running water and indoor toilet.

We had stopped at the town store and there was so much "Twilight" stuff. I thought, "gesh, the teenagers in this town must really be into that mo\vie or something." When we went to the pizza place for dinner the waitress said kids come from all over the country to Forks because the movie was filmed there or based off there or something.

Seriously, signs everywhere that said "Bella shops here" or "Bella eats here" or "Look for Jonathan". I haven't seen the movie so I have no idea what this is all about but have added it to Netflix for when it comes out on DVD.

Here's a few pics and a few of the snow we had a home before we left. Thank goodness Ted made it over the mountain passes on his way to our house. I think it might have been the worst conditions ever to drive in over the passes.

Ted and Erik had a great time fishing but didn't catch anything. We saw tons of eagles though. They make funny noises. Again, should have taken pics but I wasn't into carrying my camera around.

No pictures of the new ride yet but it drove well to Forks and back. I am having a hard time enjoying it too much because my back is still a mess and sitting hurts. For all of you with no back problems, say a quick thank you to your maker.
