Who are you?

Do you read this blog? Who are you? Leave me a comment!! I love it when I get comments so I know who reads. I know of few key people who read but love it when people I know-leave comments!! Leave me comments so I know you read. I used to be on a bulletin board on the internet but can't seem to find the time anymore to be there. I miss my internet friends dearly.

The internet is an amazing place where people can transcend above their normal first impressions of people and really relate to each other as individuals. I have learned so much from people that I would normally not have had any communication with through internet land. I love it and miss alot of those people dearly! Quick shout out to Tammy, Becky (conservative and liberal), Michelle, Eileen, Kim (!), Jen and sweet baby (amazing open adoption story-my mind is wayyyyy open to adoption because of this woman), Tracy!! (http://www.morethanaminivanmom.com/), Shannons!! (Canadian and non canadians!), I miss you all!

A bit off topic from my original post but I miss my internet friends. boo hoo.

It is very windy "here in the mountains" tonight. So I better post this quick before we loose power. I put that in quotes because for us it is quite normal to "live in the mountains" but Erik started his first night at the casino last night and they think of it differently. This casino is PRIMO...top of the line...but well, we are in Snoqualmie which is the 2nd to last town before a major mountain pass. In his orientation they said, "well in the mountains, winter can be rough, be prepared," blah blah blah. I suppose they need to warn these "non-mountain" people about the weather.

Granted we do get really high winds (30 mph is normal) and we actually do GET SNOW! Most places don't around here. Ok, those in Wisconsin/Minnesota can stop laughing now-they actually warn people of snow.....

Well, anyway, Erik has started his 16 hour days and working night shifts. Should only be 2-3 times a week of working from 10pm-4pm thenext day. He'll get about 5 hours of sleep a day those days. He's a trooper though and thankfully the Navy and being a fisherman has conditioned him well to no sleep life.

Here are a few pics of our lives lately.

Cute picture! I love getting comments on my blog, too. Can you see your "footprints" on your blog? On Xanga, you can see anyone who has even looked at your site, even if they don't leave a comment. And it links right to their site, and you make some cool new friends that way.
