I've been SICK! Like 3 weeks now. Finally made it to the doctor because I realized it was a sinus infection. Made the appointment, told him I had a sinus infection, he made sure my lungs were cleared, agreed and gave me the perscriptioin. Quick and easy $150 for him!
1 dose of antibiotics and I started to feal better. Not perfect but not drained and grouchy, tired, and sinusy crap.
What the heck did people do before antibiotics? I mean seriously...most medicine I can somehow live without. I can live with a stuffy nose, a cough, a sore throat, stomach ache, heartburn, fevers, etc but a sinus infections. No can do.
If I was a pioneer woman I would die. For sure. So here is a quick shout out to Mr Alexander Fleming (yes I had to look that up). Ok maybe Louie Pasteur needs an "atta boy" here too. Thanks to both men who figured out this gross antibiotics stuff I can now breath and swallow. I can talk without pain and without sounding like a caveman.
Oh and yes, I am sure to take my probiotics each day too. For those that don't already...probiotics are very helpful-everyday.
Now....how to avoid future sinus infections. This is my current mission in life. Oh that and planning thanksgiving dinner!!!! wooo hooo!! love it! Whole family coming over to OUR HOUSE!!! So excited!
