Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was great! We had about 20 people over. Erik and I both made a turkey. He smoked his-I baked mine. The smoked one was great! Tonight is turkey noddle soup.

It has been a nice 5 days off from work. I had taken Wednesday off too. Autumn and I have been hanging out alot since Erik is working the graveyard shift and is ubber sick.

We did manage to get a tree today at a cut down yourself place. It was pretty neat. Here are some pics.

Nice tree! First one in your 'new' house. Trying to convince Brett to revisit that very old tradition of ours now that the kids are getting older, if I get a milder weather day I just might. Glad you had a nice few days off!! :)

I love smoked turkey, the leftovers taste really good, too. This year, we are going to get a permit to cut our tree in the woods. We'll see how this goes, may be the new Griswald, I mean, Smith, family tradition.

Love the tree. Can't believe how tall Autumn is getting. I thought Tony was tall being the tallest one in his K class but I bet Autumn towers over him. lol
Miss you tons Teresa!
