Been busy and no signs of letting up...still no pics.
Last night was so very very cool. I loved Mcain's speech and Obama gave me chills and tears. How proud I am to be an American! Honestly, I don't think I have ever said that. Both parents being Marines an a husband from the Navy, you would think it would have crossed my lips by now...
It is so nice to be able to finally catch up with the rest of the world who has leaders of color, women, various religious preferneces. It is so refreshing to be albe to have faith in the deomcratic voting system. How amazing to finally feel progress and have sometihng to look forward to other than having fear be shoved down my throat.
I am so tired of the the bullshit that been feed to me on so many occasion. For all those that think Obama is a secret Muslim terrorist...enjoy the next four years and hopefully someday you will be big enough to say how very wrong you were.
Obama is a great man...a great American man! He is a great leader because he is inspiring, innovative and selfless.
I look forward to the next 4 (at least!!) years. To repeat the echo of our house at 8pm last night "woooooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooo!!!"
Oh...exclude Erik from all of the emotion of this post. He DEF doesn't agree. Oh and he sucks...

I AGREE WITH YOU TERESA!!!!
Our house was doing the same thing at 8pm on Tues night :) I feel the same exact way you do right now!!! This time around I wasn't crying in sadness...
Teresa,
Just popping in from Oct 02 to say, AMEN, sister"! I had goosebumps that night and felt giddy all yesterday. I feel so optomistic for the first time in eight years.

You said it all so beautifully, Teresa. It was one of the most joy filled moments of my life and amidst my tears of joy to get a call from my granddaughter saying, "Congratulations!!" and hearing all the "Woo-hooing!" in the background made it even better! I'm proud of all of us for bringing in this era of hope for America and the rest of the world.
