It was a bit windy and cold and no fish were caught but we still had a good time. Here are some pictures. Erik called Autumn over to see some pollywogs..uh..tadpoles. Then we look at the water some more and there were thousands. I'm not sure how we lucked out getting here at this time but we did! Autumn was catching them and talking about their little legs. So cool!
I really hate 1st grade. I really do. I hate that it's all day. I hate how tiring it is for Autumn...honestly, if I didn't have to work, I would totally homeschool. We had a ciriculum night last night and I talked to her teach er a bit. I didn't like her at first but now genuinely do...It is only her 2nd year and she hates talking to parents (her words) but she got teary when talking about social studies and what the kids are learning. Teachers really are amazing people....now if I could just remove all the kids asking Autumn if she has a crush on a boy simply because she is playing with him or some kid slamming her fingers in a gate that isn't suppose to be open, we might be ok...Autumn doesn't know I hate school and she loves it but I still hate it.
Also included some pics from some mushroom hunters results we saw at Lost lake. There were lots of people hunting and they must have had too much.
Lastly, a pic of what the kitchen usually looks like. I LOVE having a kitchen!
Busy weekend. Tomorrow I get to go out!!! Bree's birthday! Fun! Sunday I go out again!! Going to see My morning Jacket (a band...) and meeting at Heidi's. So excited!!
